This is an introduction to Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga: the Eight Limbs of Yoga. Did you know that asana is just one-eighth of the practice of yoga? We will go through the limbs one at a time and explore how they apply to your life both on and off the mat.

In this module we will go over an introduction to essential oils, how and why we use them. You will learn how they work on the body & mind to improve overall health and well-being. A brief history followed by facts, precautions, and usage & applications will give you the information you need to feel confident recommending oils.
*Included is the Essential Oil Reference Guide that provides you with a quick resource for basic oil properties as well as tried-and-true Essential Oil Recipes for DIY at-home.

How are You? We will begin with our emotional wellness quiz and move on to explore the top ten essential oils for wellness. Although often ignored, our emotional health is a vital component of our overall well-being. For centuries it has been proven that yoga provides emotional benefits as well as the physical benefits we often associate it with. Through the study of the Kleshas, or 5 Emotional Energies, we will examine what makes you, you and me, me. And how yoga & essential oils can help us be well.

The most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with your SELF. We will delve into the meaning behind our samskaras (habits), work to identify them, and move past them. Releasing our self-sabotaging patterns and reprogramming our SELF to be happy, now. We will discover our true heartfelt desires and form intentions; focusing the mind, connecting to our true SELF, and channeling the energy within. Discovery is a process and a practice of listening to your SELF. We will explore this process through the practices of journaling, aromatherapy, vision boarding, and asana to create your sankalpa (intention).
